Bay Port Festival Queen Contest
Bay Port is looking for contestants for the annual Bay Port
Festival Queen contest, which will be held the weekend of the annual Bay Port
Festival Queen contest, which will be held the weekend of August 1st, 2nd, and
3rd.
Bay Port wants to encourage area girls to enter this event and
further their education with a $1,000.00 scholarship. The Scholarship is for a
college, trade or vocational school.
To be eligible to compete, a contestant must live in Fairhaven
Township or attend Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port School District, and have entered
their senior year in high school or be 21 years of age before the Festival.
The deadline to enter will be on July 11, 2008. The application
and rules are attached. Completed applications can be dropped off at Bay Port
State Bank in Bay Port or can be mailed to:
