2011 Bay Port Festival
Prince & Princess

1. Applicants must be a resident of Huron County or Fairhaven township or a student or graduated of one of the following schools.

2. An application form must be have been completed and received by the entry deadline in order for an applicant to be eligible for contest. DEADLINE IS JULY 5, 2010.

3. Applicants must be between 6-8 years of age at the time of the festival

4. Applicants must attend and interview before the official luncheon. Applicant will be contacted with further information in regards to time and date of interview.

5. Contest will be officiated by judges whose interests lie outside the Bay Port Community, Judges decisions are final.

6. Applicants must appear on stage in dress attire on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 6:30 pm at the Bay Port Festival crowning.

7. Candidates, if chosen, must be able to attend and ride on the Bay Port royalty float in several parades throughout 2011 and 2012:

8. If a chosen winner is unable to obtain transportation to the parades, or he or she is unable to attend for any reason, he or she is responsible for  contacting Nicole Kinde to discuss alternatives.

9. If a chosen winner wishes to represent Bay Port in any other parade not listed above, he or she must contact Nicole Kinde as soon as possible in order to make such arrangements.

10. The outgoing Prince and Princess will be present at the 2012 crowning ceremony in order to pass the crown to the incoming Prince and Princess.

11. Chosen winner will received a savings bond.
